We’re sorry to hear about your housing situation. Based on your answers, it looks like you may be threatened with homelessness. If that is the case, and you could be made homeless within 56 days, you should seek immediate help. Sevenoaks District Council will first assess your eligibility status and will work with you to prevent you from losing your home (or find somewhere else to live).

The Council will go through all your options. Together, you and your advisor will agree the steps you both need to take, so that you can keep your home or find somewhere new.

When you click on Continue, you will be taken to the Kent Homechoice website. If you already have a portal, you will need to login to it and update that you are homeless. If you do not, you will need to create an account and select that you are going to be homeless within 56 days and you will be asked to complete a ‘self-referral’ form. You need to have an email address to complete the form. When you have completed this form, you will be contacted by the Council either by phone or via the portal for further information.
